Matzke Park

Matzke Park, a 19.4-acre facility, includes a multiuse trail with water fountains, rest room facilities, one cricket field, an all-inclusive barrier-free playground, two picnic pavilions, one gazebo, and a butterfly and sensory garden.

Lakewood Crossing Park

Lakewood Crossing Park Trail is a 4.2 mile moderately trafficked trail located near Cypress, Texas that features a great forest setting and is good for all skill levels. Park with playground and picnic pavilion is also in the same area. Please take note that no restrooms are available.

Cypress Creek Hike & Bike Trail

Part of the trail is located on the 100-Acre Wood Preserve, located in northwest Harris County. The preserve contains several unique forest communities, including an upland forest with remnants of mature post oaks and a forested wetland with overcup oak.

Kickerillo Mischer Preserve Lake Loop

Kickerillo-Mischer Preserve, also referred to as KMP, is an 80-acre property featuring Marshall Lake and includes paved roads and trails, fishing piers, unpaved natural areas, a canoe launch, covered picnic area, and a fire ring for group and camping activities. The canoe launch is available for non-motorized boats during regular park hours. Trails are open to pedestrians and bicyclists. Leashed pets are welcome, and there are pet clean-up stations located throughout the trails.
